Dr. Chapman graduated from Life University, School of Chiropractic in 1994. In 1995 she relocated to Giles County, where her parents were born. She opened ChiroWorks, Inc. in November 1995. In May of 2000, Dr. Chapman had completed her Acupuncture studies and became qualified to practice Acupuncture in Virginia.

Dr. Chapman believes strongly in continuing education and attends classes throughout the year, usually exceeding the annual requirements of the Virginia Board of Medicine.

An active member of both the Virginia Chiropractic Association and the Virginia Society of Chiropractic, Dr. Chapman stays current on laws affecting healthcare in Virginia. She has on several occasions met with state representatives to lobby for issues impacting healthcare in Virginia.
